Ray's love of the beauty of wood variations as well as his satisfaction of "building from scratch" began as a teen-ager with small remodeling projects for his parents' homestead many years ago. About 30 years ago, he cut his own wood which became the frame for his own family's present home. Since that time, he has hand-crafted home furnishings from simple shelves and cabinets for his two daughters and other friends and family to custom-designed china cabinets for his wife, Chris.

Each dresser and chair you see was repaired and restored by Ray. Preserving as much as possible of the original piece is always a priority--right down to soaking and polishing the original rusty handles and saving the leg casters, if at all possible.
