Activities

Play is a child's work.  A child’s play has benefits that extend far beyond the obvious one: fun! Play stimulates your child’s curiosity, creativity, and intellect, which help him to discover and make sense  of his world. It allows him to explore and express himself, to learn on his own, control his environment and connect with others. Best of all, play provides the perfect opportunity to spend time and have fun with your child.

Research shows that the most important factor in a child’s early learning is a loving, nurturing relationship with an adult in her life. And playing together is a great way to nurture that bond.

Activities

There are many things you can do with your children that are both fun and entertaining. We have included on line games as well as a printable document that you can use over and over again. These activities are perfect for rainy Saturdays as well as things for day care providers to do to help pass the time.

As well as activities we have included things that you as an adult should do or say to add in as positive reinforcement to encourage your child and to promote an active social interaction for your child. This also includes things not to say and do. Remember its not just how smart you are but also how well you play with others.

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view some of these files.
